Alicia DeMatteo is the communications director at Lilja Communications. She oversees a wide variety of client projects, including internal communications, content for articles, website and more, impactful videos and design projects both big and small. She believes all forms of communication need to be concise and relevant to make an impact.
Alicia started at Lilja Communications in 2005 as a public relations assistant; prior to that, she held communications positions in higher education and magazine publishing organizations. No stranger to playing the editor role, she was the senior editor for both her college’s literary arts magazine and her high school’s yearbook. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
Alicia has been writing fiction and nonfiction since age 7 and attempts to keep the practice up to this day. She also dabbles in playing stylist to her family and friends, and experimenting with cooking and baking.
