ALICIA DEMATTEO

Communications Director

Alicia DeMatteo is the communications director at Lilja Communications. Her expertise in content creation and concise storytelling produces impactful narratives designed to meet each client's specific goals.

Alicia started at Lilja Communications in 2005 as a public relations assistant; prior to that, she held communications positions in higher education and magazine publishing organizations. No stranger to playing the editor role, she was the senior editor for both her college’s literary arts magazine and her high school’s yearbook. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.

Alicia is an avid and sporadic writer of semi-autobiographical stories, created mainly for her own amusement. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to beaches with a good piña colada nearby, testing new pie recipes, board games, bonfires and enjoying Minnesota's many lakes in the summertime.
