LINDA TEDFORD

LifeStories Consultant

For as long as she can remember, Linda Tedford has been a storyteller. As a consultant, Linda provides support for Lilja LifeStories, including interviewing, writing, developmental editing and managing book projects for individuals and businesses.

She brings a 25-year career in major gift fundraising and legacy storytelling to Lilja. Before joining the Lilja team in 2011, Linda served as vice president for the Ebenezer Foundation and senior development officer for the Fairview Foundation. She has also worked in planned giving at Carleton College, the University of Chicago and The Minneapolis Foundation.

Linda received her bachelor's degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. She is the former board chair for the Normandale Center for Healing and Wholeness.

Away from the office, Linda spends her time enjoying local music venues with her partner, helping to guide the busy lives of her young adult son and daughter, and taking long walks with her dog, Poppy, and her son’s service dog, Allie (when Allie isn’t working).
